A WEB-Enabled "PM Pro WEB"
With the power of Alpha5 the language PM Pro WEB is written in, a Web-enabled version is now included in the basic release.
What does this mean?
1.a user can run PM Pro WEB like a normal Desktop CMMS on a network or stand-alone computer.
Or
2.authorized users (a login name & password) with access to the Internet can view, search, change & add LIVE maintenance data.
3.Enter new Work Requests. This does away with pieces of paper or leaving messages on answering machines. Each W/R has a time & date stamp.
4.The WEB part of PM Pro WEB works for ALL major modules: Work Orders, Purchase Orders, Parts Inventory, Part Transactions, Vendor, PM Task & Employee modules.
This is how the Internet main menu appears.
To run the "Web-enabled" part of PM Pro WEB requires the purchase of a Web-Server application from AlphaSoftware. The cost for this is around US$400 depending on current pricing by Alpha Software.
The Web-Server software is installed on the computer that contains a users maintenance data.
All connections to this Web Server are already programmed into PM Pro WEB.
5.Your data is fully secured.
Or
6.A combination of both with some users on a network while others can access the data via the internet. These users normally are not on the network.
